The main atelier upstairs is surrounded with windows, giving us much glorious daylight. In the afternoons especially, light and warmth floods in from the south-west facing windows. This Spring and its remarkable sunlight is much appreciated! By contrast, when it’s raining or blowing a gale you feel it. But having spent the last couple of years working within the Great Western Arcade in town, I am thoroughly enjoying a renewed sense of connection to the weather.
This image shows the main atelier (where pressing, cutting, and hand-sewing take place), before and after. Parts of the premises still require refurbishment/finishing, but for now I am clicking on with orders and will return to the last bits of refurb presently.
